Housewife

“Will She Make A Good Housewife?”

Is an aptitude test,

Given to determine the quality of life

Once married for the rest

If she fails,

there is no point in wasting more time with her,

The end of the relationship becomes a coffin sealed with nails

And a new candidate will be found to replace her

The “Will She Make A Good Housewife?” aptitude test

Should be administered by the boyfriend’s father

Having already married a housewife who is best,

the father is able to determine if his son’s girlfriend will be better.

The father is looking for a girl that will clean the house herself,

Not his son,

Who will he too tired to clean the whole house himself,

After a day of work is done.

She is a good test taker,

but this test

was hard for her

For it was the hardest

The questions were open ended,

and asked verbally,

And the opened ended

all had the right answer of surely

“Will you help with the dishes?”

Was the first question of many.

“I don’t do the dishes.”

She answered truthfully

The answer was wrong

But she could still make it up

But not doing laundry was also wrong

And she had screwed up

“Well, what do you do?”

“The floors?”

What do I do?

She wonders

“I pick up clutter”

She answered

with a stutter

But it was not how it was supposed to be answered

“The floors?”

She lied with a smile and a nod

“You do the floors.”

Oh Thank God

“Will She Make A Good Housewife?”

The result:

A low quality of life

To him, an insult

There is no point in wasting more time with her,

The end of the relationship shall be a coffin sealed with nails

And a new candidate will be found to replace her

But before this Titanic sails…

The fathers son did not agree

For his girlfriend was his partner

And they were as happy as could be

Doing the chores together.
