The Horse and Her Girl

Location

Sweet, crisp, golden hay

Shining, freshly groomed coat

Tired but content Renee

Missy begins to dote

Soft, whiskery muzzle

Warm, sweet, breath

Giggles when Missy gives a nuzzle

Peace about mother's death

Surrounded in love

Renee and Missy are content

With a gentle shove

Over Renee went

Laughs and smiles

Cover the miles

The horse and her girl

As precious as a pearl
