Hope-faith and ...

Job 13:20-21

Job’s Despondent Prayer

20 “Only two things do not do to me,
Then I will not hide myself from You:
21 Withdraw Your hand far from me,
And let not the dread of You make me afraid.

Are my prayers now a form of helplessness?

Am I settled in a house of uncertainty?

Is my hope somehow a much stronger guest?

Thinking that within God’s priority escapes.

Where does faith steps in, if hope seems the way out?

Where is confidence when surrounded by what’s vague?

Where does the phrase begin: “I can see clearly now”?

When the whirlwind around me spins being caught in flesh’s plague.

Hand me your hand so I perceive Your point of view.

Lift me up high so I understand the purpose.

Love, in the end, will then be renewed

And the question: “Why”? Will be removed from the surface.
