Hope

Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between optimism and reality,

And it can be hard to be able to persevere when it feels like those dreams are getting harder and harder to see.

Life has a funny way of testing you when things are finally going the way that you want them to,

And it can leave you feeling so devastated that you feel as if there is nothing left for you to do.

I don't care what anyone says, there is nothing wrong with holding on when the odds are stacked against you,

Because remaining optimistic and holding on to that hope is what helps you to power through.

Even if there is a one in a million chance of what you want to happen actually coming true,

It still can happen, and no one has the right to tell you that it is not going to happen to you.

It's true what they say, that life seems to be two steps forward and one step back,

But this shouldn't discourage you if your strength and courage do not lack.

When it seems like life keeps knocking you down, there is never a reason to give in,

Because there is always a chance to turn things around and to change what might have been.

There is always a reason to push forward and to hold on to that promise that you made,

Because without it we would all have nothing to look forward to and those hopes and dreams will all fade.

Life is all about taking risks, taking chances and putting yourself out there,

And all it takes is the strength to carry on and one simple prayer.

Getting back up and doing the same thing over and over again can be intimidating at first,

But it is important to remember that the events that took place in the past can not be reversed.

Moving forward, all you have to do is take that chance and never take no as a reply,

Because anything is possible, even if it onvolves you touching the sky.
