Hope, are you a friend?
Are you my worst foe?
Around you my life bends,
But you always let me go.
I sit around hoping for some sun,
In the middle of a thunderstorm,
I hope for some fun,
But life never leaves norm.
So I say to you Hope,
You are no friend of mine,
Cause I just can't cope,
With you letting me down every time.
But I keep you around anyway,
Because I am used to the pain,
And I can't stand letting you walk away,
Even in the pouring rain.
