If I am to be alone on an island there are many things that I would need, 

Water, shelter, food, indeed

yet only one thing can keep me alive,

it's the hope in my heart that will stop me from drowning.

Hope that one day I will make it off this retched island

Hope that I will see my family.

Hope is the only thing that can keep me alive, 

while I lay stranded on the beach of life.
