The Home I Dream Of

In the country, nestled in a valley between mountains of green, is the home I dream of for me.

It's quite large with a yard that you can't even see the end, with a fountain that welcoms you in.

With a wrap around porch with elegant trim, and a bench swing to sit on when the day is dim,

And an old rocker that sways with breeze, and you can hear birds in the oak trees.

Pass the double door into the foyer is a grand staircase, with tiffany lamps on both sides of it's base.

A table to side with a flower bouquet stands beautifully, and above a chandilier lights the room proudfully.

There's a ornate mirror that reflects like platinum, and two comfy chairs with cushions of satin,

Where many people will come and mingle, or wait for the sound of the doorbell jingle.

Many rooms above and below is in splendid decor, like the lovely dining room on the ground floor.

Or perhaps the library with books to the ceiling, or the music room with artistic feeling.

If you stay in for the night my I suggest the Magnolia Room, or the Night Suite with a littlw more gloom.

Any who just come down and see the nice grand home I dreamed of for me.
