Home ... a gift

2 Corinthians 5:6-8

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Home

How far does one go to protect a home?

Is a house a home if one seldom visits?

Or if the one who lives there wants to be alone?

Is your home where your heart is that realistic?

What if your heart has no place to lay its head?

What if it only survives on the materialistic?

Can a house be a home for just one person?

What if many memories fill the place to the brim?

Is it there that the past makes it a home for some?

If a home is where the heart is  ... can it be a palace?

Is it a place we cannot see but only gently touch?

Is it where peace fills every room with quiet solace?

Is it a place where grief hangs to slowly bring sunshine?

Is it where sorrow is absorbed by unconditional love?

Is it where the weary come to search for peace of mind?

Is it where loveliness covers all invisible scars?

Is it a place where tears certainly explode into joy?

Is it the place where families at times have to spar?

Is it a place where the world has little influence?

Is it like a safety net where security smiles softly?

Is it a place where unity solves all circumstance?
