Holiness is what I long for

Ephesians 4:23-24

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24

and that you put on the new man which was created

according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Oh! Holiness! Who are You?

Where You ever born?

From the womb of the morning

Weren’t you smiling on?

From before the beginning

We know You to be true.

We can’t comprehend it

Being polluted through and through.

Your beauty beyond description,

You to me seem to be unknown

And if not for Your insistence

I would be traveling all alone.

One day I will perceive You

When I am glorified.

For now I’m confused and helpless

Saved by the Crucified.
