His Word

It's meant to be read every day

Josh. 1:8 reads, “This book of the Law should not depart from your mouth, and you must read it in an undertone day and night, in order to observe carefully all that is written in it; for then your way will be successful and then you will act wisely.”

Teaches lessons in a well mannered way

Let's me know he will always be there for me

Ps. 33:20 highlights, “We are in expectation of Jehovah. He is our helper and our shield.”

Following his commandments is the key;

That is why we, I, must give him my all

Jer. 24:7 explains, “And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah. They will become my people, and I will become their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.”

I have taken note of the example of Paul

Being an apostle of Christ, he had trust

1 Cor. 11:1 expresses, “Become imitators of me, just as I am of Christ.”

This book is full of many encouraging examples of faithful people overcoming the world being unjust

Keeping my hopes that God will provide everything that I need

1 Thes. 5:17 simply states, “Pray constantly.”

Jehovah left us, me, his word the Bible to reread

So I will take the Bible with me as to keep me living

Matt. 5:6 affirms, “Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness, since they will be filled.”
