His Smile

Mon, 04/11/2016 - 16:55 -- mattyXI

It starts with a shiver down your spine.

The snow falling around you.

The breath creating a mask of fog.

Your heart beating, thumping, pounding.

The breath becoming so rapid you can't stop it.

You catch their gaze, his gaze.

He is looking right at you.

Your mouth curls into a bizarre shape.

His gaze intenifies, never letting you out of his sight.

You continue to stare, tears running swiflty down your face.

He smiles.

It is the one thing, the one thing you can't breathe without.

The one thing your heart keeps beating for.

A dream you replay over and over each night.

His smile.
