Hidden Man

He conveys a word with weary eyes,

Expressing emotions so profoundly wounded.

Suicide.

But a sweet smile is too believable,

With the sun naked from waning clouds,

Waning until there is no more,

But more so...

There is the warm sun to ease the expression from the boy's face.

You will never know he weeps from sorrows in his past.

Experiences...

The losses of life that ages his knowledge.

He is...

He is forever, forever in the sun.

To become the gravel under his fragile feet...

Because he is weak from life, from taking that last breath,

From...

Trying.

He is the man hidden within himself, hidden within his graceful smile...

But never his sad, expressive eyes.
