Hidden Behind Normalcy

Hidden Behind Normalcy

By: Mikala Turner

Opportunities run short,

 judgement runs long.

Potenial never seen

 just hidden behind niches.

In the belt of religion,

I am an outcast in my mind.

I am afraid,

afraid that if I believe in options,

that this belief will kill me.

I do not believe what these people believe!

I do not believe what this book they push at me says!

I hide behind the cloud of normalcy,

only to protect myself and my mind.
