Here's Hoping

Here's Hoping

I have some questions  about HOPE
Where does he come from
Or is she even real
Is false hope better than no hope
Or is it all in how we feel
Its said that hope is a bright light a shooting star
They say that hope is a lie a mirage for the weak
But I have seen them both
In the darkest of nights hope burns across the sky warming the faint of heart
And in the driest of deserts
hope shimmers with cool water and palm trees to keep man inching forward
Despite pain and sorrow
Doubt and disappointment
Hope is an option
Hope is alive
Hope is real
