Here, I stand
Location
Here, I stand.
I'm not your cookie cutter-violated dough, sweet as sugar; your desire.
I'm not simple. I'm not your design.
You're going to have to get over it.
Sooner or later, you'll see; your words of "faith" and "morality" mean nothing to me.
In my eyes, I know what faith and moral mean to me.
And, I'm sorry, but "persecution" and "hate" aren't a part of my vocabulary.
If I must be defined as a rainbow, then let me spread some color to the world.
Let me share my love, my way.
Let me be sweet in my own way; recipe not included.
Here, I stand.
I. Me. Not you. Or someone else.
Don't judge me based on your grocery list of what a person should be.
In fact, don't judge me at all.
Because I am not simple and I am not your design.
I am not molded or moved by your supposed definitions of faith and morality.
I have faith in me.
