For Her

For Her:

Hey Mom

I just want to let you know

That I love you

Can you just let me sit here

And think

I want to produce

All of your dreams

Never let you worry,

About money, fame and glory

Just take it easy

Lay your heavy burden

on me

Your oldest daughter

That’s who I’ll forever be

Never running from the truth

It’s the thing that fuels me

Late night calls, sitting in the corner

Fuming

Anger that stirs deep within

Erupts, corrupts, destructs

It’s ok ma

I’ll be alright

Don’t worry about me

I’ve got plenty of years ahead
