For Her

Mon, 06/03/2013 - 09:22 -- jb9609

To the one whom i loved and lost
My decisions have paid the cost
I wrote for her, I thought for her
Every poem was love for her
Expressed my feelings through paper and pencil
All the moments that we went through
What i felt and what i still feel
I write it down to appeal
My better nature, lyrical fascination
Ironic how the poetry were my creator
The poems make you, you don't make them
I realize that now since I'm at the end
Because for wanting something I gave up my other
Tired of being constricted, tired of being a lover
So now separated I no longer write for her
Always on my mind however I know for sure
I wrote for myself and express my feelings
So now my poems can seem appealing
I write to feel and just live life
Though I always have hopes one day she'll be my wife.

You don't know what you have until it's gone but that doesn't mean to give up on writing
