An Heir Without a Thrown

I stand in front of the mirror- a girl I see,
She has blonde hair, green eyes, a pleasant face to see.
Although what I see is not what others see,
What I see goes much deeper.
I see a girl who once knew love but now is a stranger.
You left when I was nine and took apart of me,
That part was important, the best part of me.
I don’t know where you are, I don’t know how you’ve been.
A princess with no king, an heir without a thrown,
A daughter with no father, no place to call her home.
