Hearts

Hearts

They beat; they break

That heart break should not be created by those who claim to care

Claiming to care is like saying I love you to a child

Breaking a heart is like telling the same child you were joking

Hearts

They beat; they flutter

That flutter should be caused by giddy nerves and shy smiles

Not by fear and dread

Fearing the one you love is like driving quickly through brick walls and buildings

It doesn't hurt any less the more times you do it

Hearts
