A Heartfelt New Years Wish (by Alex and Eva Peck)

Another new year is soon going to dawn;

And, we never know what it may spawn.

Our personal future of course we can’t foretell.

Yet, whatever happens, we truly wish you well.

May you yet enjoy reasonably good health.

This, without a doubt, is a wonderful wealth!

May you see all your needs graciously met;

And may no relationships bother you or cause upset.

May you have peace of mind and lasting contentment,

And never harbour the poison of any resentment.

May your home remain a quiet and secure place,

Where you always like returning to as your base.

So, as we wish you the customary “happy New Year”,

May you experience well-being, without needless fear.

May patience, forgiveness, and tolerance each be your guide;

And may also faith, hope, and love with you abide.

As we end our lines, we wish you all the very best;

May your life in many ways continue to be blessed.

And, should the hour of departure come to be met,

Stay hope-filled for this fresh beginning you will get!

May death be the doorway for new opportunities to expect,

Based on your good fruits from the law of cause and effect.

Keep taking good care of yourself always;

And, may you yet have many happy days!
