The Heart of Manhattan

Jesus walks, preeches right in time square.

People keep walking without a single care.

They've scene it all before.

It's new but not strange.

Nothing new anymore,

and indifferent to change.

Where the world is a stage

and the poets write their life on a page.

Where the jazz is the air,

rock is the movement and hip hop the ground.

Indie the voices and folk is the sound.

We've got stories to tell where anything can happen.

Where we write our lives in the heart of Manhattan.

It's the fruit the world wants to taste.

Where dreams can go to waste.

But the apple was worth just a try.

My life was a movie now I'm happy to die.

Where the jazz is the air,

rock is the movement and hip hop the ground.

Indie the voices and folk is the sound.

We've got stories to tell where anything can happen.

Where we write our lives in the heart of Manhattan.

"La-di-da."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."

"La-di-da."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."

"La-di-da."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."
