Heart

My heart skips a beat when you pass me by

I wonder if this is real, or just a makeshift high

You never see me
I wonder if we'll ever be
More than just a fantasy

Never before have I felt this way
Sometimes life is just so gray
But now I'm living out my heyday

So please don't break my tender heart
For otherwise, I won't know how to restart

Thank you love
And keep me close
I hope you know you're my last dose
of hope and morose
