Hazardous

Psalm 37:25

25 I was once young, now I am old.
I have never seen a godly man abandoned,
or his children forced to search for food.

Hazardous

The ways of Everlasting with temporal in the bones

Made for the limitless breaking down every few miles

Running out of gas on a road of cobble-stones

While we’re made for the flying in ways without guile

Made for ways of silence we rattle and shake

Appointed to perfection now polluted to the core

Truly made for-giving and all we do is take

Dressed for satisfaction, we always want more

Formed to be in Glory we swim in the mire

Started to walk with God we now stray in the dessert

Once to smile in purity now refined by fire

Once embraced by Peace and now a confused hazard
