I am sorry
For the pain that I have caused you,
For the mistakes that I have made
To break our brotherhood.

I regret
Everything that I have allowed,
That I did not speak out
And save your innocense.

But now,
You are gone,
Vanished like the smoke
That came up from the flames.

In vain
I have tried
To vanquish my guilt
And overcome the ubiquitous anguish.

I cannot succeed.
