Has it all been for the luster

In all the world we look for but one,
Boy or girl, strait or guy we search.
We are like the moon always looking for the sun,
Every one just out in a lurch.

We stumble over each other,
With now sound end to the direction we wander.
Always keeping our true sleds undercover,
Instead of finding love we can only ponder.

Love is what we work for, but list is what we find,
If only our generation could rewind.

This poem is about:
Our world
