Happiness is Temporary

Happiness is temporary

Have you ever realized that before?

Happiness is mocking you; staring

Just beyond your life's back door

Happiness then exits for a while

And makes sure that sadness will keep you company

Did I mention thats loneliness shows up in style?

In a cloudy van that can't go more than a mile

The hurts reside in your head

The past still eats away

As you finally lay down in your bed

Those eight hours, feelings begin to decay

Your feelings toward human beings fade to black

Human beings are nothing but walking sin, you think

But hey, cut them some slack

They're living in sin, just walking designs full of evil ink.
