Handicap

Psalm 119:5-6

If only I were predisposed
to keep your statutes.
6 Then I would not be ashamed,
If I were focused on all your commands.

Handicap

Cares of the world not only for self

but priorities interwoven in it

The thought of what’s right in the issues at hand

can become a handicap through it

Focus on things good but outside of God

may become detrimental to one’s walk

Sensitivity in one point bypasses all the other

although our works outlast our talk

The basic foundation oft-overlooked

are the works of the presence of God

There’s nothing wrong with doing what’s right

but it should be for the Glory of God
