Hand in hand ...

Job 36:22-24

22 Indeed, God is exalted in His power;
who is a teacher like Him?
23 Who has prescribed His ways for Him?
Or said to Him, ‘You have done what is wicked’?
24 Remember to extol His work,
which people have praised in song.

Eden and Gethsemane …

It started in the Garden ... and it finished in the same.

Here we walked with God ... right from our beginning.

Here the decision was made ... to give us another chance

as Jesus accepted the cup ... to pay our price for sinning.

We sing “We exalt Thee” ... but only Christ can do that.

We pledge “We will serve Thee”... what only He can do.

We glorify by our behavior ... not even thinking

that these are works ... and I am the dying proof.

Does the Lord exalt Himself ... by living freely through us?

Are we what we ought to be ... completely filled with Him?

Is it not amazing ... that this is surely possible?

So it can’t be our flesh ... that is filled with perpetual sin.

So if the Lord dwells in me ... it must be with “my” spirit.

Hand in hand with His Spirit ... in perfect harmony.

Nothing of my own ... but cleansed by His Blood

since this is The Way ... for me to be fully free.
