Habitual

Job 7:1            New English Translation

The Brevity of Life

7 “Does not humanity have hard service on earth?

Are not their days also like the days of a hired man?

Strange

Strange moments as reality at times surfaces

Sometimes unimportance seems the best that way

Nothing matters when priorities are changing

As in every instance presented, it gives me the time of day.

Positive reinforcement with primarily negative results

It is the attitude behind it that always makes a difference

Habits appear so good, but that is not authentic living

If it’s always tied down through traditions as an inheritance

To a life built on tradition, we always need something to add

A never-ending cycle of man’s chosen directive and invention

Humanity won’t ever learn. It only provides sullen explanations

That’s why things seem to fail because of the lack of intervention
