That Guy in the Mirror? Actually, Not Bad

Location

I'm flawless?

Yes.

You, beating yourself up in there, are flawless.

Your A and AB honor rolls

In elementary and middle schools didn't go away.

Sure, they didn't stick around for high school, but

Drumline in band,

Twenty hours a week to a seafood shop, and

Run your goofball school morning show?

Not AB, but you did graduate 3.5.

You bog yourself down with the trivial,

"Did she smile at me?"

"I should've tried for football in high school."

"Where will I be in five years?"

Dunno, let's do this.

A TBI and a newly focused pursuit for a bachelor's at the hometown state college.

Stop feeling pathetic if you miss your daily gym trip.

Jacob,

You are flawless.
