Guilty

Why do you hate
My color of skin?
Why can't you love
Who I am within?
I dress my own style
So you judge for a while.
Thinking that it isn't boring to blend
It isn't just one way
All sides face away.
Why can't our world see
That everyone's "me"
They sort us apart
Though we all have a heart
And though tortured I cry
I'm guilty as charged
