Grieve the Spirit

Ephesians 4:30

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Maybe undetected ... in the framework of your mind

is a grain of common sense ... that works its way around.

Will it ever surface in a person … who chooses to be unkind.

One who overflows’ with self ... and is nowhere to be found?

Personally who truly cares ... for what the mind may contain?

It’s full of pride and arrogance ... when it rises beyond the known.

It may be full of what is smart ... but geared to only gain.

It will claim to be so different ... although it’s just a clone.

It travels to and from places ... where no one rules at all.

It drowns itself in pools of slime ... where depravity plays the fool.

It feels at home with the ones ... who hear an artificial call

They celebrate forms of emptiness ... in a timeless foggy pool.
