Greedy Wolves

Thoughts

Within my head

They Battle

Attack

Go for the throat

What’s that you say?

I question whether there will be a day

A day where it all will pay

Where all my skill and all my pain

Will it enable my brain?

Will that day come?

Should I keep mum?

Do hungry wolves smell leafy things?

Or are they more concerned with standings?

Do they choose the possum or the horse?

It seems that they already knew their course

Even though it pales in comparison

In fact, it’s quite embarrassing

They often fight tooth and nail

And chase after one another’s tails

Indeed, they seem to understand the mood

They can do nothing but brood

When they do not get their way

When they don’t get a say
