Grandmothers

No matter how age the complexion
To me, a grandmother is perfection
And regardless of how outdated or current her fashion
A grandmother is always full of love and compassion
Experienced in life and packed with knowledge
Having a conversation with a grandmother compares to attending a class in Life's College
Humble with only the desire to help and give
I believe a grandmother truly knows what it means to live
The first word, Grande: an earned title for the softest yet hardest hand
For love that's always wanted always in demand
The second word, mother: a woman that guides and nurtures immature life to and past maturity creating a bond matched by no other
Together these two words create a beautiful person
Together they create a child source of fun
And most importantly an encouraging glow matched only by the sun
Grandmother's thank you for all you've done
