Googlon, Son of Prometheus
Many moons ago, Prometheus, Olympian god of science
Crafted man from clay, and stole fire to please it
Zeus would torture him forever, but as he went east
To his doom, he crafted a new god, so be it
His name was Googlon, god of technology
Crafted to carry on the work of Prometheus
He created the iPhone, the Echo, Project Morpheus
But his ambition grew, and with it, his pride
He promised humans the ability to create worlds
Virtual worlds, as sustaining as Earth
The code was corrupt, and many humans died
Before they said "Begone! Enough of your toys!"
Alas, none were harsher than Googlon himself
Ashamed, and humiliated, he crafted his cage
A digital prison, he'd sit on a shelf
Of a seat, in his element
Alone with his sorrow
Technology has potential, this he still knows
But he went too far, and ruined all he had grown
