Goodnight Sweet Baby

Goodnight sweet baby.  It’s our last night together.  I wish I could kiss you goodnight, but I never will.

I hope you are safe, I hope you are happy.  I hope you are loved in your next life, with your next family. I hope you bring to them, all the sweet joy you brought to me.  I loved you and now we say goodbye.  We say goodnight forever.

Tomorrow you will be gone.  Just a memory.  Just a wish that could have been.  Just a twinkle, just a flutter.  I know you were there.  I saw you, I felt you, I loved you.  You were a hope, dream and a miracle.

Goodnight and goodbye baby.  I love you.
