Goodnight, Goodnight

Goodnight, goodnight to you.

Have the moon weave you a blue wool blanket,

With stars to shine in every corner illuminating any darken dreams.

Goodnight, goodnight to you and to your leaping sheep.

I hope they land softly by your ears to not disturb your drifting counting.

I whisper: goodnight, goodnight as your tired eyes fall out of sight.

The room is dark and the moon high.

The day ways busy and I wish you a new one soon.

Goodnight to you.
