Goodbye

Such a strange word, Goodbye

We say it all the time

But yet we think nothing of it.

Isn't funny?

"Goodbye son! See you after school!"

"Goodbye Class! See you after Christmas!"

"Goodbye Dad, See you after you get home for work!"

But, It's see you after, always see you after.

Well, one time I couldn't see after, and I wish at least I knew.

"Hope you have a great Spring Break!" "You too!"

What I forgot to say was, Goodbye.

Turns out that Spring Break I was moving!

I never told her Goodbye,

Thats when I new the meaning of that word. 

The word I never got to say.
