We have become comfortable with our lifestyles to the point where we ignore what is happening to the world around us.

Can't you see the afternoon sky,

violet with the polutants of man?

Can't you see the once-crystal river,

flowing with garbage left behind by

campers, "nature-lovers"? 

When will it become too much for Mother Earth to bear?

What will she do then?

She is the one that sustains us now, all we do is take and take and never give back.

One day, humanity will be no more.
