Goodbye

Sun, 06/09/2013 - 00:03 -- Skye

Her breath is the tide
Gently it roles in
Swiftly it crashes away
Those precious blue eyes
Have become dual grey moons
The canyons in her wrists
Fill the puddle around her
Rivulets stream down her cheeks
They drop like rain
These morbid splashes ripple through my being
So many thoughts fill my aching head
“Why....”
“How could you be so selfish?”
You were my other half
My heart…
Her liquid color has been fully drained
She lies in a puddle of cold life
Chilled to the bone
Nothing of the girl I loved
Just a broken heart
Where mine once fit
Goodbye, my love
Until we meet again…
