Goodbye

Alone in the dark, I sit.
Crying.
Sobbing.
Hating my life.
Everything is wrong.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way.
We were supposed to be happy and strong.
I am consumed with pain, hate, and anger.
But you don’t care.
You left me here to pick up the pieces of everyone’s broken hearts.
You have left me to fix what is broken, but I’m not sure I can this time.
No glue or tape can fix this.
There’s a hole in my heart where you used to be, one that won’t ever be filled.
I loved you so much but you let me fall,
We were so high; I thought we had it all.
The truth really hurts,
It kills me inside.
But if I can’t trust you, I’m glad you said goodbye.

I know how you feel; hollow and alone. We can only hope that it will get better. That life will become worth while again. But please never give up.
