Good Robot

Fri, 03/27/2020 - 15:57 -- Jess G

One good little robot

Walks down the street

Gait steady, stride even

She doesn't make a peep

Beautiful, flawless

By unanimous decree

The epitome of perfection

Is what she's known to be

Head up, shoulders back

She's confident and calm

To the untrained eye

There's nothing wrong

But something hides behind

Her smile so bright

Look in her eyes

They carry no light

Years of unshed tears

All cast aside

Rusted her slowly

From the inside

Perfection is vital

The essence of propriety

She gave up her soul

For acceptance of society
