Good Morning. I see and love you.

Over a year of dating you has seemed like 5 or maybe 10

And every day with you I've hoped never ends

For plenty more and plenty more will soon come our way

And I'll get to share with you, the memory of a day

I have seen you in many lights

In many moons, in many nights

I have seen you when you're tired or stressed

When it seems impossible to give your best

I have seen you when you fear and shake

When you sleep

When you are awake

I have seen you when you council

I have seen you stay awake until

Until all tension has been discussed

And God's grace overflows on us

I have seen you when there are pressures high

Stretching you by and by

I have seen you solve the puzzle

Before I can once, you do double

And so trained are you in your thinking

I've seen you apply wisdom as if wisdom you were drinking

I've seen you love and be loved

Graced by God above

I've seen you smile and deeply frown

I've seen the sadness way deep down

I've seen your joy and your tears

I haven't seen all your years

Yet all the next ones I'll be near

For I've seen you become to me so dear

I've seen you bake, cook, and clean

These bonuses upon my dream

For how could every and all these things

Be true of one person named Christine

What I have not seen are the angel wings

I'm sure are there for so it seems

Your kind soul in constant reverence

True obedience and penance

Beautiful pointing to God

And if angels could sin without being frauds

Then I'd be more convinced

Because dating you has been filled with hints

That God is in and working through you

Consistently because he has wooed you

So maybe your not an αγγελος

But your character is truly καλος

I've seen your regret and accomplishment

I've seen your grief as you repent

I've seen your creativity and your art

Your esthetic taste married to your head so smart

I've seen your wounds and your scars

I've seen you gaze upon the stars

I've seen you gaze upon the moon

The one that is setting soon

I have seen you read and write

And sometimes with your siblings fight

But usually in petty things

Without raised voices or fist swings

I have seen you laugh at irony

Or stumble upon your own acrimony

I have seen you joke and tease and flirt

Don't worry, it never hurts

(As long as the flirting is with me. Don't be distracted by these parentheses)

I have seen your allergies as you get sick

I have seen you pass the time as the clock goes tick

I have seen you drive and be driven

Gosh, I've seen the specifics of your livin'

I've seen what I make of this

That I have chosen you, a world of bliss

And at the altar I won't miss

As I remind you of our memories with our first kiss

I've seen you and that alone

Beckons me to call you flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone

I have seen you engaged to me

And I wait to see you in our matrimony

Good morning Christine

I love you!
