Golden Gram

Golden Gram

            A weightless penny

            Profound in design

            Yet heavy

            Treasured

            By oh so many

            Long it lives

            Upon this day

            The epic center

            Within people

            A core case of love

            Undefined by the unknown

            Those who do not see

            Nor know him

            Appearing in question

            Judging from eyes

            There lay their own demise

            He is more

            Nothing old or

            Black in horror

            But he is bright

            A competent soul

            Standing tall

            Above them all

            A Golden gram

            For what stands
