God Are You Here?!

Location

This is the cry of a little girl,

whose daddy dies tonight.

This is the cry of a mother,

whose son goes off to fight.

This is the cry of a father,

whose daughter breathes her last breath.

This is the cry of a boy,

Whose cancer, is meaning death.

"God are you here?!"

"God are you real?!"

"God do you care?!"

"I feel SO alone!!"

The future seems so hopeless

If they could only feel God's presence!

Rain is pouring down,

could those be the tears of heaven?

"God are you here?!"

"God are you real?!"

"God do you care?!"

"Their cries are ringing out!!"

Then, as the darkness fades,

and the rains disappear.

As the night turns to light,

Their eyes turn to the son,

the bright and shining sun.

He draws them in his arms

"I am here!"

"I am real!"

"I DO care!"

"My child never doubt"

"You've never been alone."

"I've been here all along."

"I was holding you up,

when you though for sure you would fall"

"I love you!"
