The Glow Up of a Marginalized Mind

Prepubescent face,

With eyes judging the world.

It becomes clear to him a life in which hate

relates to the minds of many.

A glow up from “When will we get there?” to

“When will political leaders own up to their

mistakes and change for the better?”

It is the glow up of a Marginalized Mind,

it is seeing 16 year old Carlos Gregorio

Hernandez Vasquez die under border customs,

during which real Americans turn a cold shoulder.

Confused by the intricacies of equality,

he grows.

He grows and glows to shout and alarm until his

fight is over and

his right is heard.
