Glow Up

At 423 Tasker Street, Anthony dressed every morning to get ready for his walk to American Christian Academy.

A 6 year old boy, he noticed things like the racks of chips in the corner store, as he stared through the window, dreaming about the day that he would see himself carrying his football gear in the reflection in that plate glass window.

At 21, a boy no more, Anthony sees a man stare back in the reflection in that window.

The dream he dreams is different now- and closer.

He dreams of a career in science,

pride in his parent's faces,

and a family to pass the corner store with,

on the way home.
