Glimpses

I am coasting.
I don't touch down on the mortal Earth
where everyone else is.
Sometimes I feel nothing,
and other times,
I am drowning.
I don't know what to feel,
Each emotion teases me,
Pick me! Pick me!
I'd like to think
that there are some people who know me.
Close friends, family.
But the truth is,
I don't even know myself.
I can be so many different things.
Different personalities,
Each surfacing when needed.
Sometimes I get glimpses,
if who I'd like to be
Someday.
But is there enough of me
to piece together into a whole person?
