Gleaming Images of Heaven

A cold June morning,

Shivering in a choir loft,

Full of song, laughing.

A warm autumn night,

Packed into an upper room—

Old tales are made new.

A gath’ring of friends,

Vulnerable, unafraid,

Praying for guidance.

Our world

I like that you use a simple format, short lines to create interest and thinking on the reader's part. Take a peek at a piece I posted called A Life Surrendered

Just posted a limerick-style poem called If A Saturday's A Saturday, check it out! Just playing with a different style
