Calculus day one,
I reviewed limits,
Now was that actually fun?
I decided I would have to commit.
As time went on,
we learned derivatives,
that is when my brain was gone,
if only it had preservatives!
I struggled to learn,
Each lesson expanded,
I would toss and turn,
With integrals I finally landed.
Then off I went,
I had a surgery,
my mind was spent,
It was then I begged for mercy.
As I healed in bed,
I worried about school,
I felt nearly dead,
and like a complete fool.
I am back today,
I have survived,
and I'm filled with dismay,
even when I've derived.
